2024 TROY AREA DELTA CHI ALUMNI CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP

 

 

ANNUAL SONS & DAUGHTERS OF ALUMNI BROTHERS $1000 SCHOLARSHIP  

  

The Troy Area Delta Chi Alumni Chapter awards this scholarship each year to the sons or daughters of Alumni Brothers in appreciation in appreciation for the contribution of their fathers to Delta Chi fraternity at Troy University since 1966. The number of scholarships awarded may vary from year to year. 

Each applicant will submit to the Alumni Chapter his/her personal data, a list their academic test scores, extra-curricular activities, honors and awards, and provide an official transcript and letter of recommendation from someone in their community who is not an educator or relative. 

     Each $1000 scholarship will be paid directly to Troy University to be applied to the students’ University bills.  The number of scholarships awarded may vary from year to year, based on student qualifications and ability of the Chapter to fund.  The Chapter reserves the right to not award a scholarship if it is determined by the scholarship committee that the award does not meet the intent of the scholarship. 

     Each applicant must be enrolling as a first time student at the Troy campus for the upcoming fall semester.  

     The applications will be reviewed by the Alumni Chapter scholarship committee.  The current committee is Mike Kreis, Dale Taylor, Marcus Paramore, Randall Smith, Lang Floyd, and Brenda Campbell. 

      If you have a son or daughter who has been accepted to the Troy campus as a first time student for the upcoming fall semester and wishes to apply for the scholarship, please CONTACT US  by April 1^st and an application will be emailed to you. Completed applications must be received by May 31^st.
